MLB Umpire Reacts To Being Hit In The Face

Major League Baseball has been pretty fun lately. Last night, during the Boston Red Sox at Tampa Bay Rays game, home plate umpire Chad Fairchild was hit in the face with a David Ortiz swing.

Luckily, he kept his cool.

Oh, wait. He’s wearing a microphone for some reason, and it’s the loudest, most sensitive microphone ESPN has. If you watch this video without the sound, it looks like he’s making a comment about the weather or something. Looks like he’s just taking in his surroundings.

You didn’t hide anything, Chad. You might as well have flipped out a little.

Finally, A Sport For Creeps: Mutton Bustin’

Mutton Bustin’ is a new ‘sport’ held at county fairs and rodeos where adults place their children on top of sheep and see how long they can ride them until they fall off while the sheep tramples them (lol! oh, kids! gotta love ‘em).

Apparently, it used to be something farm kids did for fun until a Colorado businessman who goes by the unsuspicious and totally normal name ‘Tommy G.’ decided to turn it into an organized sport.

Accrording to Tommy G.:

“There’s something about a child and an animal that is just endearing to people. But at the same time, they like to see a good ride.”

Uhhh, what?
